Please make sure to read the descriptions carefully within the Tutor Hub because most middle school tutors teach ONE subject area instead of multiple areas like those in K-5. For each entry, tutors include their contact information, availability for tutoring sessions for grades 6-8, pricing, and anything specific you may need to know about them. If you have any questions about how to connect with a tutor, please contact me.
Please read the Terms of Use Policy located at the bottom of this page.

It is solely the parent’s responsibility to ensure the tutor is a good fit for their child and discusses any disagreements with the tutor in a respectful way so as to reach an agreement. It is solely the tutor’s responsibility to ensure they explain to the students and parents how sessions will be handled, how students will participate, and their behavior expectations within the session time.
Parents, Students, and Tutors who use the Tutor Hub agree to waive liability of Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub of any negative occurrences, harm, or damages and not hold the Tutor Hub or Education Exchange legally responsible for any negative occurrences, harm, or damages. Parents, Students, and Tutors use the services of Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub platform at their own risk. Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub are not responsible for any circumstances that occur before, during, and after services are rendered.
Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub connect learners with a variety of experts and professionals. Tutors, instructors, experts, educators, and other professionals on the platform are independent contractors, who use their own styles, methods, and materials and create their own lesson plans based upon their experience, professional judgment, and the learners with whom they engage. Any guarantees of services and results are the sole discretion of the tutors.
Education Exchange nor the Tutor Hub guarantee tutoring services or results; we simply post the information provided by the tutors and share that information to students and parents who inquire about tutoring services. Education Exchange nor the Tutor Hub guarantees that tutors will have students while their post is displayed on the Tutor Hub. Education Exchange will share about the Tutor Hub in various ways, including social media and phone conversations, in order to get students and parents to contact tutors for their services. Subscription Refunds to tutors must be requested in writing via email and sent to crystal@educationexchangellc.com within 3 days after invoice payment. After 3 days, there are no refunds.
Education Exchange nor the Tutor Hub guarantees a tutor to be available for every student and parent. All services are a “first come, first serve” basis. Education Exchange nor the Tutor Bub is responsible for any situations that occur before, during, or after contact is made with the other tutoring platforms.
All tutors are responsible for any taxes, fees, costs, or payments that they incur while their post is live on the Tutor Hub and at any point of time before, during, and after they are working with students they matched with through the Tutor Hub or Education Exchange. It is up to the individual tutors to create their own written contracts, privacy policies, or other guidelines for students if they choose to do so.
It is up to the individual tutors, students, and parents to carry their own insurance to cover situations that can incur before, during, and after tutoring sessions. Education Exchange nor the Tutor Hub are responsible for ensuring all parties have appropriate insurance before, during, or after tutoring sessions.

The Tutor Hub Honor Code exists for all users of the Tutor Hub platform run by Education Exchange, including students, students' families, instructors, and tutors. The purpose of the Honor Code is to stress integrity as a part of Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub’s mission to provide academic services to those in need and increase academic achievement of students. Students may receive help with homework, assignments, or any other proper purpose as long as it is permitted by the teacher whom it was assigned by. The Tutor Hub platform should not be used for academic dishonesty by students or tutors. Most students are subject to the academic code for the school they attend. This should be followed at all times and may be shared with an instructor or tutor. Regardless, students should not be using the platform to copy answers or to get final answers to questions or problems without knowing how to arrive at that answer. The platform may be used to assist in the learning process, but not in lieu of the learning process.
Tutors should also understand and respect academic integrity. Tutoring and instruction should be a complement to the academic process and not a means to substitute the work of the tutor for the work of the student. Tutors should not complete assignments, take tests, allow or assist in plagiarism, or engage in any other form of dishonesty that may violate the academic honor code of the school the student attends or otherwise misrepresent the student’s work or academic ability.
Education Exchange is not in a position to enforce or monitor compliance with its Honor Code. It is incumbent on all of the users (students, tutors, and parents) using the Tutor Hub platform to do so themselves and to prevent others from violating the Honor Code. If a violation of the Honor Code is reported, Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub reserve the right to deny or limit access to the platform to the violator, at the sole discretion of Education Exchange and the Tutor Hub.
